Poverty reduction in times of global climate change"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-2938\" src=\"https:\/\/ul-standards.org\/iecah\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/imgboletin_poverty.jpg\" alt=\"imgboletin_poverty\" class=\"caption\" style=\"float: left;\" width=\"131\" height=\"170\" \/>El Center for Development Research de la Universidad de Bonn junto con la organizaci\u00f3n CARE, han elaborado este documento&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-2938\" src=\"https:\/\/ul-standards.org\/iecah\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/imgboletin_poverty.jpg\" alt=\"imgboletin_poverty\" class=\"caption\" style=\"float: left;\" width=\"131\" height=\"170\" \/><\/p>\n<p>El <em>Center for Development Research<\/em> de la Universidad de Bonn junto con la organizaci\u00f3n CARE, han elaborado este documento en el que se combina la teor\u00eda que trata sobre c\u00f3mo contribuir a reducir la pobreza y fomentar el desarrollo sostenible incluyendo la variable del cambio clim\u00e1tico mediante la identificaci\u00f3n de soluciones locales. Combina las conclusiones extra\u00eddas de investigaciones sobre cambio clim\u00e1tico y reducci\u00f3n de la pobreza con el conocimiento local de las poblaciones del este de Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>El cambio clim\u00e1tico es una realidad que a d\u00eda de hoy se debe enfrentar en todo el mundo, pero de manera fundamental en los pa\u00edses m\u00e1s pobres. \u00c9stos, a pesar de ser los que en menor medida han contribuido al cambio clim\u00e1tico, son los que se ven m\u00e1s afectados por sus consecuencias. De ello se deriva la necesidad de ver la reducci\u00f3n de la pobreza teniendo en cuenta el cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n<p>La conclusi\u00f3n es clara: el cambio clim\u00e1tico hace m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil combatir la pobreza. Cada vez m\u00e1s personas est\u00e1n en riesgo de caer en la pobreza debido a cambios en las condiciones medioambientales.<\/p>\n<p>Las principales recomendaciones para organizaciones que est\u00e9n luchando contra la pobreza giran en torno a las siguientes ideas:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Las estrategias de reducci\u00f3n de la pobreza deben priorizan la adaptaci\u00f3n al cambio clim\u00e1tico y estar basadas en estrategias locales exitosas en las que se deben incluir los conocimientos locales, que han de contar con el apoyo necesario para desarrollarse.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Se deben analizar las pr\u00e1cticas consideradas exitosas en base a los criterios de eficacia, eficiencia, flexibilidad, imparcialidad y sostenibilidad.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Se ha de promover la concienciaci\u00f3n en relaci\u00f3n a la adaptaci\u00f3n local a los impactos del cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Los impactos del cambio clim\u00e1tico son dif\u00edciles de predecir y la urgencia de implementar medidas de adaptaci\u00f3n no puede ser usada como justificaci\u00f3n para no contar con el consentimiento de la poblaci\u00f3n local.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Las medidas de reducci\u00f3n de la pobreza deben ser realistas y las organizaciones deben concentrar sus energ\u00edas en preservar la resiliencia de las personas m\u00e1s pobres as\u00ed como su capacidad de actuar.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Es necesario realizar estudios de caso y an\u00e1lisis cr\u00edticos sobre la extensi\u00f3n del cambio clim\u00e1tico y las medidas de adaptaci\u00f3n ya que en ocasiones algunas de las que han sido tomadas como \u00f3ptimas no han producido los efectos esperados.<\/p>\n<p>Informe completo:<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.reliefweb.int\/rw\/lib.nsf\/db900sid\/MUMA-85X5BQ\/$file\/Waiting%20for%20the%20water%20to%20come.pdf?openelement\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.reliefweb.int\/rw\/lib.nsf\/db900sid\/MUMA-85X5BQ\/$file\/Waiting%20for%20the%20water%20to%20come.pdf?openelement<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El Center for Development Research de la Universidad de Bonn junto con la organizaci\u00f3n CARE, &hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":201,"featured_media":2938,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[182,366],"tags":[],"iecah_area":[],"iecah_language":[],"class_list":["post-2939","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-actualidad","category-articulos-propios"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v17.2 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Waiting for the water to come?
